SJEĆANJE NA VUKOVAR | REMEMBERING VUKOVAR

Pridružite nam se u nedjelju, 17. studenoga u 13 sati (1 PM) u dvorani kako bismo obilježili 33. godišnjicu jednog od najtragičnijih dana u hrvatskoj povijesti. Imamo čast ugostiti mladoga hrvatskog glumca Peru Eranovića, koji će izvesti monodramu "Priče iz Vukovara", prema zapisima vukovarskoga ratnog izvjestitelja Siniše Glavaševića. Pridružite nam se odmah nakon euharistijskog slavlja. Hrana i piće bit će dostupni po završetku svete mise, a monodrama počinje u 13 sati. Ulaznice za odrasle su po cijeni $25, a za djecu ispod 13 godina po $5. Ulaznice možete nabaviti kod Ivone u žup-nom uredu!

On Sunday, November 17th, our parish will host a Vukovar Memorial to honor and remember the victims who lost their lives in Vukovar during the 1991 Homeland War, marking the anniversary of the sacrifice of this Croatian City, where more than 1,000 defenders and civilians were killed. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the Sacrifice of this Cro-atian City.
To commemorate this, we will have Pere Eranović, a young Croatian Actor who will perform a monodrama, Stories from Vukovar, based on the war reports of Croatian War Journal-ist, Siniša Glavašević. Through words, poetry, movement, interaction with the audience, and the authentic war reports of Siniša Glavašević, Pere will bring to life the humorous and tragic moments, the trial and tribulations of this time, and what that means for future generations. Please note that this monodrama will be in Croatian. Food and drinks will be available for purchase immediately following the 10:30 AM (Croatian) Mass. The show will begin at 1 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults, and $5 for kids under the age of 13. Please call the parish office to reserve your seats!
